Virgil Esh

I grew up right here in Lancaster County as a little Mennonite boy, hearing about Jesus every Sunday, but it wasn't until the age of 16 that He became personal to me. Through a summer program with Youth With A Mission, I began to understand that God wants a personal relationship with me, not just my obedience to a list of rules. Since then, the Lord has continued to grow and shape me through the circumstances of life, mistakes I've made, and especially through so many incredible people who have spoken into my life.

Some life-giving hobbies for me are playing and watching sports (Go Birds!), learning through books and podcasts, and spending time with my wife and extended family. I got married to my beautiful wife Amber in December of 2025 and we especially love to travel and try really good food together!

I've had the privilege of serving on staff here at Worship Center since 2020, and I truly love what I get to do leading and serving young adults. A few highlights are the retreats I get to lead twice a year, and walking alongside young adults, seeing them grow into healthy adults who love the Lord!
