Eric

I have enjoyed providing oversight to Worship Center’s Pastoral Care Ministry since I started on staff in 2017. In 2023, I started a new pastoral role at Worship Center as the Marriage and Family Pastor. My original call to ministry came from the last verse of the Old Testament, which speaks of the coming ministry of John the Baptist: “His preaching will turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers. Otherwise, I will come and strike the land with a curse” Malachi 4:6. Since reading that verse many years ago, God has filled me with a passion for harmony in the family.

I was raised in a large Catholic family in Rochester, NY. When I was 17 years old, I joined the Air Force. Two years later, after getting in serious trouble because of my drug and alcohol abuse and nearly dying from a drug overdose, I was introduced to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ at the Christian Servicemen’s Center in Kaiserslautern, Germany. God radically changed my life as I was reborn into His family, enjoying the blessings and challenges of being one of His sons.

After being discharged from the Air Force in 1981, I received a call to pastoral ministry and enrolled at Elim Bible Institute and College (EBI&C), later receiving my bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Trinity Bible College and Seminary. I met my wife, Cindy (who also serves at Worship Center), at EBI&C. We have four grown children living all over the country and eight grandchildren. We love to connect with our children, ride bike trails, enjoy meals with our small group, find new coffee shops, and explore beautiful Lancaster!

My passion is to help people meet Jesus and grow into a dynamic relationship with Him as they transform into the beautiful life God designed for them — one engaging step at a time.
