I was born & raised in a Christian home in Somerset, PA. I became a Christian at a young age & church was always a huge part of my life growing up. I always knew, early on, that I would be a teacher & work with children. I attended Messiah College for my Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught for seven years in Harrisburg City School District & in the meantime, received my masters degree in Teaching and Curriculum.
When my husband, Ben, and I had our oldest, I began staying home to raise our family. We moved to this area in 2013 & quickly made Worship Center our church home. We have since added 3 more children to our family & have fallen in love with Lancaster County! For the last four years, I’ve been working with Millersville University as a University Supervisor, working with Student Teachers in local schools.
For the last six years, I’ve had the privilege of being the Moms Group Coordinator here at Worship Center. I have loved working with so many families in our church community! The ability to lead the birth through kindergarten ministry feels like such an amazing extension of my experience with Moms Group! I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with Worship Center families! I am honored to have the ability to be a part of the beautiful plan God is crafting in each of these little one’s lives!
