Young Adults Fall Retreat Recap
Last weekend, 53 of our young adults spent time away together in Halifax, PA for our Young Adults Fall Retreat.
These weekends are intentionally designed to help young adults grow deeper in their relationship with the Lord through scheduled times of worship, teaching, and small groups. Alongside those moments, we also make room for unstructured free time, creating space for young adults to rest, play games, and build meaningful friendships with one another.
Our theme this year was “In Christ.” Together, we explored what it means to find our identity in Christ, to walk by the Spirit, and to live as His ambassadors in the world.
One of the clearest highlights of the weekend was witnessing the genuine love and unity within this group of young adults. There was a special sense of value for one another, where everyone was welcomed, no one was left out, and there was a shared joy in simply being together.
Saturday night was especially powerful. Pastor Dustin shared a timely message on living by the Spirit rather than the flesh, and afterward led us into a time of ministry. Many young adults came forward to confess sin, receive prayer, and be filled afresh with the Holy Spirit. The room was filled with a pure hunger for God and a deep desire to walk in the freedom and fullness of life that comes through Him.
The Lord is moving in a really special way in our young adults. There’s a genuine hunger to know God more, paired with a high value for authentic friendships and community.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for and invested in this group. Your prayers and support are bearing fruit and making an eternal impact!
