Building Project
This is a landmark year for our church family. After many years of planning, praying, and waiting, we broke ground for our new facility. Find out more about how we are going Beyond the Blue Chair. Find out about how we are expressing appreciation to the workers building our new facility through Ministry of Construction.
Building Update:
Recently, concrete was poured for the "sloped" floors in the new auditorium, and insulation and drywall have been been going up throughout the new building. Check out these recent blog entries and photos:

Stories of Faith
Comfort in Small Group Friendship
[This quick story came in from Heather and Rob Butler describing Heather's experience during the "Armored for Life" series.]
This was the first time Rob and I hosted a small group. We were very excited, but a little apprehensive because we really did not know what we were doing. I was uneasy because I was not comfortable praying out loud in front of people. I don't know what to say. I get nervous. I stumble over my words. And then it suddenly gets very warm in the room, and I think I'm going to pass out. Plus, I felt like I sounded like an idiot. But, I knew I had to do this for my group. I also had to do this for my own walk with God.
The first week I practiced over and over in my head all day long. I was so nervous I don't even remember saying the practiced prayer. The second week we just prayed in silence to ourselves (I got off the hook that week!). Read more...
