Barry
I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home on a farm in rural Pennsylvania. Thanks to my parents’ teachings and examples, I came to know the Lord at an early age. I married my high school sweetheart, and we attended Geneva College together.
Worship Center has been our church home since 1990. Our two children, their spouses, and our grandchildren also attend Worship Center.
God called me to go on a mission trip to Honduras after Hurricane Mitch in 1998. This first mission trip changed my life and views about who we are as Christians. Since then, I have gone on 19 mission trips to other countries, and I am still humbled by how God works through us. I treasure being a part of Worship Center, a church that ministers in the world and in our community.
I am now retired from dentistry, and we live in Cornwall. I continue to enjoy cycling, supporting high school football, and being with our grandkids.
I believe our church needs to continue to embrace missions, both here and abroad. I believe we can help everyone who thirsts for a Savior who gives comfort, mercy, and grace, because that is what He has done for me!
