CVCCS Thanksgiving Food Drive

It’s almost Thanksgiving and that means it’s CVCCS Thanksgiving food drive time! Every year, around this time of year, we do a food drive for Conestoga Valley Christian Community Services (CVCCS). The food collected fills their food bank, which goes to our neighbors in need right here in the CV school district. We want everyone to have the opportunity to experience a warm Thanksgiving meal this holiday. We get to be part of making that happen.
Bags can be picked up at the East, South and West entrances on Sunday, Oct 29th and Sunday, Nov 5th. Please return all food by Sunday, Nov. 12th. Below is a list of requested items.
No expired food please!
- Canned sweet potatoes
- Instant mashed potatoes
- Canned applesauce
- Canned fruit
- Gravy mix (packets)
- Hearty canned soups
- Chicken and beef broth
- Peanut butter and jelly
