Beau Eckert at Worship Center: To Whom Would We Go?
Jesus came to this earth and performed many miraculous signs and wonders so that we would know he is the Son of God, has the power to save our souls, and so that we would put our faith in him. It can be easy to get wrapped up in looking to Jesus for what he can do for us and how he can solve our temporary problems. But, Jesus didn’t come to this world to solve temporary problems; he came to save us from our biggest, eternal problem – eternal separation from God.
Deciding to follow Jesus doesn’t mean that he will keep us healthy, wealthy, and wise. Following Jesus means we have the hope of an eternity in his presence and a God who promises never to leave or forsake us.
