Matthew 25 Project Praises and Prayer Requests (January 2026)
ALIGN LIFE MINISTRIES
- PRAISE for two clients and one client’s support person coming to accept Jesus into their hearts.
- PRAISE for the ability to be moving into their new building in Ephrata on January 19.
- PRAISE for the positive reception they are receiving as they begin renovations to the strip club in Columbia that’s being converted into a new Align Center.
- PRAISE the Lord for their partnership with Infinite Worth, who provide 24/7 coverage of their chat line for clients. As a result of that partnership, many women and men were supported while we were closed for Christmas and New Year’s, and many medical appointments were scheduled.
- PRAY for one specific abortion-minded client they are currently serving. Her pregnancy is viable and everything in the ultrasound looks good as was expected, but she remains abortion-minded. She did accept a picture from the ultrasound. Pray that she shares the ultrasound results with the father of the baby and that he and his family become supportive of the birth. Pray that God equips her with new-found courage and strength. Pray that He opens her eyes and her heart to choosing life for her baby.
- PRAY for their many speaking opportunities at local churches in January for Sanctity of Life Sunday. They are asking God to help convey their “God of Redemption” message well and that He will bring about all the good that He has in mind from those visits. Pray for their speakers to stay healthy and for the weather to not be an issue for the next several Sundays.
- PRAY for God to direct volunteer Client Advocates with evening availability to their Lancaster center.
BRIDGE OF HOPE
- PRAY for discernment and open doors. They’re currently in the process of setting goals and strategies for the next fiscal year, which begins April 1. They believe God is calling them into expansion. This means probably two hires next year working to increase the number of families they serve.
- PRAY they have wisdom and sensitivity to the Spirit’s guidance.
- PRAY they find the right relational connections for congregations willing to walk along those increased number of families they believe they’re called to serve.
- They are praying/asking/discerning an increase of around 30% over the next 3 years. That means growth in several ways—finances, staff, and volunteers from churches willing to walk as neighbors with families.
ILLUMINATIONS
- PRAISE that this community has a speaking population of 3.5M people. It is a profound gift that they now have native connections and opportunity to serve this people group that is 99.9% Muslim.
- PRAISE that one of the local translators is a Muslim and a “seeker.” This translator agreed to join the team at great risk because of an experience with Jehovah God answering prayers in a time of desperation, and deeply desired to understand more. PRAY for this person’s and the whole team’s safety and spiritual growth.
- PRAY for safety and momentum for this highly sensitive project in Thailand as they translate the Bible into the Pattani Malay language. The government approved the teaching of this dialect in local schools, enabling people to read and write in their own language after generations of severe restrictions and penalties. As a result, the full Bible will become one of the first major resources in their heart language.
KEYSTONE FAMILY ALLIANCE
- PRAISE for the success of the Holiday Camp sponsored by the Youth Intervention Center for kids who were unable to spend Christmas with their families. The support they received through local churches, including Worship Center, provided the camp with all the items needed, including some of the breakfasts. It speaks volumes to their staff when the people of God show up in this way. It also means that the kids were able to have a fun and meaningful time, as much as possible while away from their families.
- PRAISE that Worship Center will have 2 Care Communities launching in January—serving 2 families who do not currently attend church anywhere. PRAY for the people who are surrounding these families, that they may be led by the Spirit in their interactions and given opportunities to love well. PRAY for the hearts of the families, that they would be encouraged—both in their fostering journey and in their spiritual journey, wherever they may be in it.
- PRAISE for new local advocates leading their churches’ ministries to foster children and families. PRAY for God to orchestrate the service and leadership of all new advocates in local churches.
- PRAISE for supplying them with Reality Church and Victory Church teaming up to bless 121 local children in foster families with Christmas presents.
- PRAY that God will guide the influx of potential foster families expressing interest to agencies at this time of year and equip/sustain those agencies.
General MATTHEW 25 PROJECT Requests
- PRAISE for the incredible response from Worship Center’s congregation to Matthew 25 Project, and the ownership and participation of individuals and families in giving both financially and through serving.
- PRAY for continuing discernment and planning as Matthew 25 Project continues. May the Lord lead us to local partnerships according to His will.
