Serve Week 2025 Recap
“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them” (Hebrews 6:10).
Thank you to everyone who participated in Serve Week 2025! We truly appreciate everyone who came and helped, whether for an hour or for multiple days! Our church showed up with hearts to serve, love people, and sweat.
Below are photos from the week. If you’re interested in continuing to serve at any of these ministries, they can always use volunteers!
This great group helped paint a bench, pull weeds, tear out old carpet, and paint. If you’re looking for a great ministry in the Paradise area that serves students and adults in need – The Factory Ministries is your place! Volunteers are needed to serve in their food market, after-school programs, mentoring, and more! Click here to visit their website.
This crew made 45 meals for foster families. Fostering can be hard, and a meal you don’t need to make is extra delicious! To learn more about how you can support Keystone Family Alliance, click here.
This group helped at Good Samaritan Services to deep clean rooms for new families living in their residential housing. They also took care of some yard work and painted a deck! Continual volunteer opportunities include making meals for families, helping at events, bringing your own small group to serve, and many more! All volunteer opportunities can be found here.
This sweet group served at Brethren Village’s Wheelchair Walk. They accompanied residents outside and galavanted around their beautiful garden, resulting in a fun and meaningful time together. Brethren Village frequently offers wheelchair walks like this, and the more people volunteer, the more residents can spend some time outside! Find out how to serve here.
This crew served at Sewing Hope, a ministry right here at Worship Center that sews much needed items for people around the world. You don’t need to know how to sew to join! If you would like to learn more, contact Mabel at mabelmusser1@gmail.com.
This crew got it done! They pulled weeds, pressure washed, deep cleaned and organized the baby boutique at Align ministries in Ephrata. Align has locations in Columbia, Ephrata, Lancaster, and Lebanon, and can always benefit from volunteers. Find a way to serve near you on their website.
This group showed up on a SATURDAY morning to help serve our community! They did lots of mulching and other projects at Upper Leacock Park, thank you to everyone who stayed even longer than expected to finish the job!
The best part is, there are so many more groups who participated than those pictured! We had people serving at Blessings of Hope, The Potter’s House, widows’ homes, Freedom Thrift, and the SEEDS block party. What a blessing to be the hands and feet of Jesus while serving our community!
