In a step of faithful obedience, Pastor Shannon has decided to step down from his role as Young Adults Pastor at The Living Room. For the past 7.5 years, Shannon has served on Worship Center’s staff in this position, and his faithfulness is an invaluable contribution to the growth of young adults at Worship Center. We’re so grateful for the years of ministry that Pastor Shannon poured into TLR and our church community.

Shannon says, “Over the last seven years that I have had the privilege of serving at Worship Center, I have witnessed and been part of seeing so much growth and life change. It has been an incredible journey, and I’m immensely grateful for the privilege, opportunity, and growth I have personally experienced in this role.

However, as I have continued to grow and become more aware of the values and philosophy of ministry I hold, it has led me to see that I should make a change. My decision is motivated by obedience to the Lord and his calling me to explore new spiritual and personal growth opportunities. I know that you might have many questions about what is next for me, I do too. Lots of them.

This has been the biggest step of faith I have taken in a long time. Every day the Lord seems to give me a little more vision and another piece of the puzzle. Your prayers during this season for wisdom, discernment for not only myself but for Virgil, Ali, and the leadership of TLR & WC are greatly appreciated.”

Pastor Dustin Leed, Shannon’s team leader, says, “Shannon has been a tremendous pastor for this church and young adults in our area for years. I’m thankful for his dedication and for the memorable moments we’ve shared. His presence will be missed, but we’re excited for what the future holds for him.”
