Mary Beth Maifeld

Mary Beth has served with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) since 1994 and was the Base Director for YWAM El Paso-Juárez (YWAM EPJ) from 2004 – 2017. She serves on the Eldership Team for YWAM Mexico. Mary Beth is called to Invest, Equip, and Launch ministries, leaders, and individuals to serve in their passion and to fulfill their God-given destiny. She attended, and is now leading, the Leadership Development Course (LDC) which is offered regularly to develop leaders with five or more years of leadership in YWAM.

In partnership with the Worship Center in 2019, Mary Beth founded the For The One Foundation, a Christian foundation that raises and distributes resources to ministries and individuals, in order that young people from orphanages and foster care transition successfully to a hopeful and productive adult life. Currently the foundation is assisting young people transitioning out of these institutions in Mexico, Haiti, Uganda, India, Myanmar, Zimbabwe, and the US.

Mary Beth completed a two-year course in Christian Leadership Life Coaching in 2021 and uses that skill regularly in her ministry. She mentors and coaches leaders around Mexico and has also worked with leaders in Asia and the US.

Mary Beth moved to work with YWAM Tyler in September of 2023 and served in the Director’s office, on the legal Board, on the leadership team and oversaw all of accounting. After serving there from September 2023 through April 2025 she rejoined the staff of YWAM El Paso-Juárez and is currently assisting the Director with special projects.

Mary Beth serves on several YWAM ministry boards including YWAM El Paso-Juárez, YWAM Mazatlán, the Christian Heritage School in Tyler Texas, and Restoration International a ministry headquartered in Tyler Texas serving in India and Bangladesh.
