Homes of Hope is “Bringing hope to needy hard-working families globally in the Name of Jesus.”
Homes of Hope (HOH), a part of the Youth With A Mission family of ministries, has been building homes for the poorest of the poor in 27 nations since 1990 with more than 130,000 volunteers participating globally. In Mexico more than 52% of the population live below the national poverty line and 20% of homes in Mexico (5.4 million) exist in inadequate conditions.
Worship Center has the opportunity to serve with YWAM Analco, located in Durango, Mexico, sharing the hope and love of the Gospel of Jesus. Providing families with adequate shelter, a home that is safe and dry, a clean house that helps them stay healthy, allows their small income to be used to purchase resources and necessities for their family. Helping those less fortunate helps lift people out of poverty and gives hope for a better future with a small home, debt-free.
HOH teams are ideal for adults, young adults, and teens, and consist of 12-15 members. Skilled labor is not required, but appreciated and helpful. Ages 12 and older are recommended.
If you're interested, please RSVP below to the informational meeting on Sunday, July 26th, 10:15-11 a.m. in the Heritage Room.
