Costa Rica Mission Trip

Pioneering Mountain Outreach – Costa Rica

Location: Buenos Aires, Puntarenas

Dates: 12/2/26 - 12/10/26

Ages: 18+ (16 with parent)

Cost: $2500 (includes airfare, transportation, meals, accommodations)

This ministry trip is a strategic, first-of-its-kind initiative to strengthen our mountain church plants and extend outreach into remote indigenous regions of southern Costa Rica. The team will be working directly with our Global Partners, Alex and Delia Dienner, and their local partners on the ground. 

Team members will receive hands-on training and activation in:

  • Hearing & obeying the voice of God

  • Sharing the Gospel in cross-cultural settings

  • Praying for the sick, oppressed, and Spirit-led ministry

  • Ministering in honor-shame and power-fear contexts 

  • Cultural humility and relational bridge-building

We will travel into hard-to-reach communities in the mountains, supporting local leaders while laying groundwork for future expansion. This is a pioneering effort requiring flexibility, faith, and willingness to take risks for the Gospel.

Beyond ministry, participants will gain firsthand exposure to Spanish-speaking culture and experience the stunning natural beauty of Costa Rica.

This trip is ideal for those hungry to grow in boldness, spiritual gifts, and cross-cultural effectiveness.

Note: All accepted trip members will be required to read Global Awakening’s Ministry Team Training Manual and participate in two Zoom training sessions with Alex and Delia Dienner before arriving in Costa Rica.
