Young Adults Spring Retreat 2026 Recap

A few weeks ago, 84 of our young adults spent the weekend together at our Spring Retreat in Newville, Pennsylvania. It was a special weekend full of fun memories and powerful moments with the Lord!

The weekend included powerful worship, teaching, and small groups – along with plenty of free time to play games and build friendships with one another.

Our theme for the weekend was experiencing God’s love for us, and it’s incredible to see how faithful He is to show up when we create space for Him. We were bold in the Holy Spirit to ask that every young adult would move from knowing to experiencing God's love before we left the retreat center, and the Lord delivered.

Our key passage was Ephesians 3:16–19:

"I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God."

Some of the highlights included seeing many young adults come forward for prayer Saturday night, hearing testimonies Sunday morning of what the Lord had done, and watching new friendships form and deepen throughout the weekend.

If I had to sum up what the Lord did in a few words, I would say this: many young adults left with a greater sense of identity, value, and purpose from experiencing His love in a fresh way. 

Thank you to those of you who were praying for us! It’s exciting to see what the Lord is doing in our young adults! There is a genuineness and authenticity to their desire to know the Lord and each other more!
