Matthew 25 Project Praises and Prayer Requests (April 2026)

ALIGN LIFE MINISTRIES

Praises:

  • Praise the Lord for new client advocates who just completed their training. Pray for
them as they begin their new role, that they would not allow doubt or fears to interfere with how God wants to use them.
  • Praise God for a client at the Lebanon location who was recently baptized and is
excited to grow in her walk with Christ.
  • Praise God that a couple from the Lebanon location allowed a client advocate to prayfor them; this was the first time that anyone had ever prayed for them.

Prayers:

  • Please help us pray for an abortion-minded pregnant client from the Columbia location who had an ultrasound but left undecided. She has support from close relatives and loved ones. We have been praying that she shares the ultrasound pictures with them, and that the Lord brings more people around her to speak truth into her heart—so much that she chooses life. We have reached out to her three times since then, but so far, no response.
  • Please pray for our upcoming Move for Life fundraiser on Saturday, May 9th, that God would be glorified through the event, that everyone in attendance is inspired to proclaim the Gospel and champion life, and that the Lord would have favor on the fundraising aspect of the event.
  • Pray for a father from the Columbia location who is unsure about whether he is the biological father to the preborn child. Pray, too, for a male client from the Lancaster location that he would be able to find employment before his baby arrives.

BRIDGE OF HOPE

  • A group from Worship Center serving as a neighboring family met their family on Saturday of Easter weekend. This family is facing significant challenges, but the group seems to have already connected well with the family, especially with the child! Pray for the challenges the family faces and for the Worship Center members who will be sharing Christ’s love with them!

ILLUMINATIONS

  • Please continue to pray for the translation team out in the field in southern Thailand. They are literally risking their lives to bring God’s Word to this very heavily Muslim part of the world.

KEYSTONE FAMILY ALLIANCE

Praises:

  • Praise that our fundraising dinner was a true blessing and encouragement. The event raised significantly more than past years. We are grateful for how we’ve seen the hearts of Jesus-followers in Lancaster care for vulnerable children and families.
  • Praise the Lord that we have an amazing new member on the team, Kelly, who has come on as a second Assistant County Coordinator.
  • The recent flooding one of our advocates was dealing with has been resolved. They have been encouraged by their church raising money to support a family working toward adoption and creating a video about the family to share with the birth mom.
  • Prayers:

  • Through discernment and following God’s leading, Sarah is now stepping out of her role with Keystone Family Alliance. Pray that she will be blessed as she goes and as she sees all she's done in this ministry. Pray that she will sense Jesus very near as He guides her. And pray for our team as we will miss her and invest in all God will do in our ministry through this transition.
  • Pray for the HOPE FOR THE JOURNEY conference we will be hosting next Saturday. May this be an encouraging time to those attending to be equipped in caring for children who have suffered trauma.
  • Pray for one of our advocates. She is having health issues and their family situation has shifted so that there's question about how much she will get to see one of her grandchildren.
  • MATTHEW 25 PROJECT TEAM

    • As we move forward in Matthew 25 Project, we'll be meeting with each of the current partners to pray together and discern, through the Holy Spirit, what other ways we can assist the ministries in being the hands and feet of Jesus. Please pray for His supernatural guidance.
    • We're in the process of finalizing partnerships with 6 new ministry partners. We'll be making decisions regarding the best, most impactful ways to support these ministries in their Kingdom work. Please pray for God’s presence with us as we make these plans moving forward.
    • One of the areas in which we're praying for God’s guidance is in selecting agencies/ministries that approach the challenges of poverty, homelessness and hunger in a holistic way. We are praying for wisdom to find ways to alleviate urgent needs while also providing support/resources/training to help the children of God in need to find their way to more solid footing.
