Divorce Care

Separation and divorce are devastating experiences for any couple, and for the children involved. Weekly, we pray for families going through this very difficult reality.

In this blog, I want to accomplish two things:

1) Give you a brief description of Divorce Care
2) Introduce you to our new Divorce Care Leaders, Eric and Lumi Nichols.

First, the description of this Christ-centered national ministry is as follows:

"Separation and divorce are significant losses for the dreams and plans you envisioned for your life. You are not alone, and we want to walk with you through this time of transition in your life. Join us for this group to learn how to process loss and grow in a healthy environment. There's a $20 materials fee to register for Divorce Care (let us know if you need financial assistance with this). This group will begin on Wednesday, September 9 at 6:30 p.m. (following an inexpensive meal available at 5:30 p.m.), and will run for 13 weeks at Worship Center."

"Second, I want to introduce you to our new Divorce Care leaders, Eric and Lumi Nichols. Eric and Lumi have both experienced the pain of divorce and have been married for 20+ years. Eric is an American businessman in the medical field, and Lumi, from Romania, has been involved in ministry for years, currently teaches at Lancaster Bible College, and has written a fascinating account of witnessing Romania come out fo communism as she joined the Christian church.
