Age 3 to Kindergarten

In our WC Kids Jr. program, our preschoolers begin to experience more structure during their time at church. They enjoy learning in big-group and individual classes, as well as art projects and other fun activities.

What to Expect

When You Arrive

Your child's first visit to WC is a big deal to us. Our goal is to make it the best it can be in a fun and safe environment designed especially for them.

The first step when you arrive is to check them into their respective classroom. A one-time registration at Guest Check-In only takes about 5 minutes, so you will want to allow a little extra time for this. Check-in assistants will help you register your child and show you the check-in procedure for future visits. They will also help you find the appropriate classroom for your child.

Service Times

Kids service times are the same as the regular service times: 9 and 11am Sundays and 7pm Monday nights.

Checking In

Check-in is open to receive children for 30 minutes, opening 15 minutes before each service and closing 15 minutes after each service begins. We close check-in to minimize the effects of separation anxiety. When little ones see a parent come to the window, they can tend to become anxious, expecting their mom or dad to come next.

Kids Comfort Area

You are more than welcome to have your child attend church with you. If they happen to become unsettled in the service or if you don't feel comfortable bringing them into the auditorium with you, we've provided a Kids Comfort Area ust outside the West Auditorium Entrance. This space is made just for parents and their young children. A broadcast of the service is available in the space while children play. There are also monitors in several areas along the Main Street corridor should you choose to participate in this way.

If You Are Needed

Please have your mobile phone with you, as the WC Kids Ministry uses text notification to contact you during the service if your little one needs your attention. Also, be ready to submit your mobile number and your mobile carrier (At&T, Verizon, etc), as these are required for using text notification.

Parent Pick-up

Your child will receive a name tag that includes their unique security number. You will also receive a parent tag with this same number. We call this the Parent Pick-up Tag. For safety reasons, no one is allowed to pick up your child without the parent tag you receive, so make sure you hang onto it. It does have a duplicate on the tag, so another parent or family member can have one as well. If you should lose the Parent Pick-up Tag, stop by the Nursery Coordinator's desk in WC Babies.

It’s our hope that you and your child have a wonderful experience at Worship Center!
