Every time we set time aside to focus on God and what he's doing in our lives, and the lives of people around us, our relationship with him grows. Summer serving trips is just one way that we encourage this at Converge.
Every year we have seen students grow in their relationship with God and each other as they step out of their comfort zones to serve other people locally, nationally, and globally. This summer, we are excited to see what God will do in and through our students as we serve in Lancaster, in Harrisburg, PA, and in Juarez, Mexico.
Everyone who goes on a missions trip must sign and turn in the release and waiver forms linked below.
This is a great opportunity for middle school students to serve our local community. Thursday evening will begin with swimming and games. Friday and Saturday are filled with service projects (serving at Mennonite Central Committee, CVCCS, Fire Halls, Single moms, Widows, Perish No More to name a few), then Summer Serve comes to an end on Sunday with a fun event. The cost of this 4-day event is $129.
Students in grades 9-12 will work with Wildheart Ministries in Harrisburg. Students will participate in construction projects in the city of Harrisburg and also lead Bible schools in the evenings. The cost for this trip is $400.
