Meet Max and Allie

Meet Max and Allie, two members of our worship team!

by McKenna Whisler on March 20, 2017

While you may recognize the faces you see up on stage each Sunday, you may not know the people behind the instruments and mic stands. Each one of these musicians has a heart for worship and passion for Jesus. For the next several months, we'll introduce a member (or members) of the worship team so you can get to know the people who lead you in worship every weekend! This month, meet Max and Allie Demydovych:

What’s one thing not many people know about you?

Max: We can be pretty weird.

Allie: We are home bodies. And I moved here from Vancouver, Washington.

Besides music, what’s one thing you’re passionate about?

Max: Work! I'm an engineer technician in research and development. I love what I do and I'm excited to go to work each day.

Allie: Cats! Because I work in medical support, I'm passionate about people and helping people!

Where are you from?

Eastern side of Ukraine.

How did you meet?

Allie: In Ukraine, wearing diapers and playing in dirt!

How long have you been at Worship Center?

Almost 2 years!

When did you become a Christian?

Max: I grew up in the church and, at the age of 17, I realized my real need for Jesus.

Allie: I grew up in church and made a personal decision at 18.

What’s your favorite genre of music?

Allie: Country!

Max: I guess country, too.

Allie: He listens to whatever I force him to listen to!

What is your role on the worship team?

Allie: I sing.

Max: I play bass.

How long have you been singing/playing this instrument?

Allie: There's a video of me holding a mic at age three!

Max: I picked up bass at age 17, but I also play a little piano and guitar.

What are you looking forward to in this season of life?

Babies! Expanding our little family to more than cats.
