India & Sierra Leone Initiatives: Mission Accomplished

Updated July 11, 2018

Worship Center presented missions initiatives in 2016. One initiative was to develop leaders in Sierra Leone, Africa by helping to establish life training centers. The other was to provide a refuge and a pathway for women and children in India caught in the sex trafficking trade. Our primary goal was to come alongside two ministries to give them an extra boost toward becoming self-sustaining.

Recently, Missions and Community Outreach Pastor Chris Lautsbaugh brought us up-to-date on the progress that's been made in the last year and a half. He also shared what we feel is needed to finish our efforts in these two endeavors. This included some final goals to complete the initiatives. We then received an offering.

We’re excited to report that, because of your generosity, we have surpassed the goal of $20,000!

Our work in these nations will continue on through our global partners serving on the ground. Should anyone wish to continue to partner with these ongoing efforts, this can happen through our international partnership program. Drop a check in the offering basket with a note as to which partner it is for or give online.

Thank you for your generosity to boost these projects to fight human trafficking in India and provide both leadership development and job creation for people in Sierra Leone.

Mission accomplished!

Here's the video we shared during services.
