Honoring Missionary Andy Petersheim

Andy Petersheim, a long-term missionary with Worship Center, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, November 25th.

Andy, alongside his wife Betty, spent 41 years as a missionary in the jungles of Guatemala. They started out hacking their way through the bush with machetes and eventually saw a network of ministries and churches established that are still thriving today.

Pastor Sam knew Andy from childhood in the Amish community as their families would harvest together. He describes Andy as being, “faithful, and soft-spoken. Gentle, yet incredibly respected.”

Andy’s viewing will be Monday, December 3rd at 10am at Worship Center, followed by the service at 11am.

We mourn with the family for the loss of a husband, father, and friend, but celebrate the life of faithfulness Andy lived which impacted more lives than we could count.
