Changes to weekend services following Gov. Wolf’s mask order

July 02, 2020

On July 1, Governor Tom Wolf's office announced that wearing masks in public places is now required.

After carefully examining the state’s guidelines, we strongly recommend that everyone attending our in-person gatherings wear masks, effective immediately.

We will require all Worship Center staff and volunteers, excluding those actively ministering from the platform, to wear masks for the weekend services.

We realize there are many opinions on this. As a church, we need to make decisions for the good of over 4,000 people. Due to this responsibility, we feel the best approach is caution and concern for our community's health. As the science on this virus has progressed, masks are recommended more and more by leaders and health officials, as reported across various media outlets.

As our church moves forward, we want to look at this as an opportunity to love each other and our community sacrificially. We believe recommending masks is a practical way we can love and serve our neighbors, while hopefully avoiding future shutdowns.

As we gather information, we’ll release more details concerning other ministries and events.

Thank you for your patience, grace, and understanding.
