Worship Center can lead people that we would otherwise miss into a growing relationship with Jesus. We have a remarkable opportunity to reach our local community with the love of Jesus by partnering with the School District of Lancaster. Since students will begin the year online, we want to help the most vulnerable of them through two different opportunities.
DIRECT PARTNERSHIP WITH SDOL - Camp Champion
Worship Center has connections within the School District of Lancaster. James Buchanan Elementary School is located in the West part of Lancaster City. Like many people in our area, Buchanan families are facing the difficult hurdle of virtual learning for their children. Many families must choose between making a sustainable income and giving their child the academic support they need. Worship Center can help.
James Buchanan Elementary staff have reached out to our church to be a part of the solution. We have the ability to host a safe and healthy environment for kids to participate in their online learning while their parents are working. This keeps kids out of the left at home scenario.
Worship Center is hosting a learning environment called Camp Champion for 25 children hand picked by the school district at an area church.
