Marriage at Worship Center

Eric Scott   -

If you are engaged to be married or contemplating engagement, congratulations! After you’ve said yes, we are excited to partner with you as you begin to plan for your wedding day and, more importantly, your future as a married couple.

[Click here to fill out the Premarital Questionnaire.]

Our premarital process is designed to help you build a Christ-centered marriage that will last a lifetime by using Godly principles and time-tested skills and tools.  At Worship Center, we are happy to provide a seasoned married couple to walk with you as premarital mentors, a pastor to officiate your ceremony and a wedding coordinator that will assist the pastor in facilitating a smooth rehearsal and ceremony. This is available to WC members and attendees.

If you are planning a wedding at Worship Center or a Worship Center pastor is officiating your wedding you do not have to wait to know all of your wedding details to get the process started. If possible, please allow at least six months to complete the following process, however, six months advanced notice is not a requirement. Fill out the questionnaire with what you know and we’ll help you get started!

The Premarital Process

1. Fill out the Premarital Questionnaire.

2. Once you have filled out the Premarital Questionnaire, the Administrative Assistant for Weddings will receive an email notification and will be in contact with you about your next steps.

3. You’ll meet with our Marriage and Family Pastor to help guide you through the process and help you to be matched with an officiating pastor and premarital mentors.

Scheduling a Wedding

Worship Center campus is available for weddings only for members and regular attendees of Worship Center who are also using a Worship Center Pastor to officiate your ceremony. We cannot currently accommodate receptions, hors d’oeuvre hour, or any other post-ceremony gathering.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the cost for a Worship Center wedding?

The fees for Worship Center weddings vary based on if the service will be an on-site or off-site wedding. A detailed list of costs will be given to you during your initial meeting with the Marriage and Family Pastor. If cost is an issue we have several low cost options and are happy to work with you. It is our goal to make sure that cost is not a factor in you choosing to get married or to receive premarital mentoring.

Who will officiate our wedding?

All of our staff pastors are licensed to officiate weddings. You may request any pastor that you’d like; however, please be advised that each pastor has a unique schedule and may not be available for your specific date.

Will Worship Center or its ministers perform a wedding for a same-sex couple?

As we submit to the Lordship of Christ and the Authority of the Bible, we believe marriage is a covenant with God between two equally valuable people, who are opposite genders. This follows God’s design in Genesis and is referenced by Jesus and other Biblical writers. (Gen. 1:27, 2:18, 2:24, Mark 10:6-8, 1 Cor. 6) Based on this, we follow the historic Christian perspective on marriage that it is meant to be between one man and one woman exclusively.Everyone — no matter their background, history, or journey — is welcome at Worship Center. We aim to be quick to welcome people, affording every person genuine love and respect regardless of sexual orientation or relationship status. We believe that hatred and harassment toward any person does not align with Scripture and will not be tolerated. Those who do not hold the same beliefs as us will still be loved and welcomed.

Who can I talk to for additional questions about my wedding?
