Our staff consists of trained counselors who endeavor to be led by the Holy Spirit and guided by the principles of the Word of God. Staff from various backgrounds and specialties are available to meet the needs of our clientele. Several staff members are certified or licensed as mental health or addictions counselors. Others have earned degrees in counseling, or are currently enrolled in a degree program.

Dr. James E. Johnson, L.S.W., D.Min, Director of Shepherd's Touch, has more than 40 years of counseling experience in a variety of settings. He holds degrees in counseling and theology, and is an ordained minister as well as a licensed and certified counselor. He is the author of two books: The Gift of a Sound Mind, and Freedom From Depression.
