About SPF
The Single-Parent Families Ministry of Worship Center provides an environment that develops character and fosters Godly relationships to single parent families as they Experience God, Grow Together, and Serve Our World. We hope to inspire, uplift, and encourage single parents and their children with the Good News that there is a special plan and purpose for them. The message of faith and love and a victorious life is found in a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Why Do We Meet? A central part of why we meet is to provide a support system and healthy environment for people facing common situations and hurdles. It is a safe place where you can know and be known, serve and be served, love and be loved, celebrate and be celebrated!
Programs
This Wednesday night class will offer nine weekly sessions. Enjoy teachings from the DVD series, He Speaks to Me by Priscilla Shirer. The class meets from 6:30-8:30pm with a meal. During that time, your children will be fed and nurtured by a caring staff.

Annual Events
A luncheon designed to share the love of God with our SPF.
The Great Commission encourages us all to go into the world. As we travel to a foreign nation to serve in another culture we broaden our perspective to give as well as receive. You will be stretched, inspired, and fulfilled as you step out in faith on a great adventure with your children that will change your lives and create life-long memories. UpcomingTrips: December 201, Mexico (Delivering Goody Bags).
Our premier event, designed for single moms to enjoy an essential escape from the busyness of their lives. Our purpose is to bless and honor them and to bring refreshment to their soul, body, and spirit by providing pampering spa treatments, tasty gourmet food treats, and encouragement. Children have a fun time of playing, eating, and crafting a Mother's Day gift.
Summer barbecue/pool party/picnic that marks the turn of seasons. Parents celebrate that school is almost back in session and children each receive a gift of a new back pack and school supplies.
Every fall, single parents have an opportunity to have their cars winterized and looked over by volunteers from the church.
The event of the Christmas season! Making home made cookies is a delight for old and young alike, releasing the inner child in all of us. SPF prepares several kinds of cookies with children delighting in decorating them with their special flair. After lunch, freshly baked cookies are yours to take home and you have created some memories with your children.
The spirit of the Christmas season is giving out of a loving heart, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son." As we rejoice and celebrate this wonderful gift of eternal and abundant life as a church family, we extend our love to you, our single-parent families. A special offering is taken that will provide gift cards to help ease the financial burden of purchasing gifts.
