Types of Groups
Did you know you were designed for community? That's right, our Creator built a "community gene" into our genetic makeup! He said, "It's not good for man to live alone..." We need each other! If you're currently not part of a group, use this guide to help you locate one where you can begin to experience the power of community.
Comprised of a variety of different groups for all ages, including families, empty nesters, and singles, neighborhood groups are all about caring for one another and reaching out into the neighborhood. The East Region includes the following areas: Warwick, Manheim Township, Ephrata, Cocalico, Eastern Lancaster County, Pequea Valley and Octorara School Districts and Berks and Chester Counties.
Groups are located in: AKRON, EAST EARL, EPHRATA, FIVEPOINTVILLE, GAP, NARVON, NEW HOLLAND, PARADISE, ROTHSVILLE, and more.

The Northwest Region includes the following areas: Lancaster City, Donegal, Manheim Central, and Elizabethtown School Districts and Lebanon and Dauphin Counties.
Groups are located in: EAST PETERSBURG, ELIZABETHTOWN, LANCASTER CITY, LEBANON, MANHEIM, and more.

Learn a new hobby and form great relationships with these groups based around a special interest or hobby:

These groups specialize in reaching out and connecting individuals to one another through shared common focus, hobby, or vocation. Relationships are formed and friendships develop through mutual sharing of experiences as we interact with each other and apply God's truth to our daily lives.

These Christ-centered small groups facilitate transformation in people with special situations or a particular issue. Change takes place as they share their stories, apply biblical truths to personal and relational needs, pray for one another, and allow God to heal and restore them.

DIVORCE CARE (13-wk group for those experiencing separation or divorce)
DIVORCE CARE FOR KIDS (DC4K) (A special place for children ages 5-12 to find help and healing from the hurt of divorce.)
FAITHFUL & TRUE MEN'S GROUP (Men overcoming sexual addiction)
FAITHFUL & TRUE WOMEN'S GROUP (Partners of men overcoming sexual addiction)
GRIEF SHARE (13-week session - from mourning to joy)
HEALING THE WOUNDED HEART (Seminar for anyone affected by abortion)
HER HIDING PLACE (9-week session for spiritual and emotional healing after abortion)
HOPE FOR THE JOURNEY (a group for women of all ages who struggle with depression)
OIL & WINE (Healing the wounds of women who have been sexually abused)
RELATIONSHIPS 101 (For single adults)
STEP TO FREEDOM (Biblically-based 12-step group for overcoming substance addictions)

Whether looking for a place to connect and make new friends or spend more time in interactive and comfortable settings, these small groups are a good place to establish relationships that strengthen and build character to honor God in a generation of change.

We meet in homes throughout the county. Anyone age 60 or older is more than welcome to attend. If you fit in this category, have a pocketful of life experiences, are willing to share with others, and want to be a part of the "God's-not-done-with-me-yet" crowd, come join us!
