VIDEO PRODUCTION MANAGER – FULL-TIME
DEPARTMENT: Creative Ministries
REPORTS TO: Creative Ministries Director
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for leading all image magnification (IMAG) elements for Worship Center Ministries (WCM), with video oversight to include children and student ministries. Responsible for understanding all aspects of video and projection operations, including maintaining equipment, building of volunteer video teams, and ongoing training of those teams for weekend services and special events. As video producer, coordinate and produce multimedia projects for weekend services, special events, and promotions for WCM.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Degree in media production with an emphasis in videography, or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience. Previous management and supervisory experience required. Work requires an understanding of the production of still and motion media projects in order to coordinate and produce projects. IMAG experience in a large church setting is beneficial and preferred.
- Experience: Minimum two years experience in media production, including at least one year of videography experience. Experience with Macintosh platform, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop & After Effects. A working knowledge of broadcast lighting required.
- License/Certification: Valid PA drivers license.
- Specific Abilities: Comfortable in a leadership role, able to delegate effectively, provide training, and give directives. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff in other departments, as well as multiple volunteers and teams. Organized with ability to multi-task. Must be willing to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends. Must be flexible and able to make last-minute adjustments to schedule and set-up requests. Skilled with creative lighting, videography, editing, and sound in both live and studio broadcast settings.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
- Develop and lead volunteer teams for IMAG and videography and provide training and ongoing direction and scheduling.
- Collaborate with team leader to develop the video portion of the annual budget. Responsible for maintaining the budget and making cost-effective recommendations regarding systems and equipment.
- Ensure that IMAG presentations for all services and special events are well produced.
TECHNICAL DUTIES – IMAG:
- Responsible for all aspects of IMAG for weekend services, special events, dramatic productions, retreats, practices children and student ministries on occasion, based on event scope and need).
- Oversee direction of control room and personnel during weekend services and other events where these resources are needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance, service, and repair of WC Ministries IMAG systems, including video recording.
- Have a working knowledge regarding lighting and audio.
- Attend Creative/Tech Team meetings.
- Conduct product research and make recommendations regarding new equipment.
- Serve as team leader for IMAG volunteer and staff personnel
TECHNICAL DUTIES – VIDEO PRODUCTION:
- Acquire, direct, and create all required elements to produce high quality video presentations for weekend services, special events, and promotions. This includes direct on-location shooting, sound recording, editing, output preparation, and completion.
- Assist ministries in determining video promotion content and structure.
- Preview outsourced media to be used.
- Maintain inventory of productions.
- Conduct product research and make recommendations regarding new equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

AUDIO MANAGER – FULL-TIME

- Experience: Five years live audio mixing in large settings. Working knowledge of live audio mixing is required. Previous management and supervisory experience required.

- Work with the LWA technical director in their audio needs.
- Mix audio for and/or be present at main services three weekends per month.
- Perform preventive maintenance, service, and repair of audio systems.
- Oversee duplication of audio and video recordings, including equipment and systems.
- Coordinate the staffing and equipment associated with recording.
- Attend Creative Team and staff meetings as scheduled.
- Conduct product research and make recommendations regarding new equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.

LWA ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – FULL-TIME
POSITION SUMMARY: Living Word Academy is looking for an experienced administrative assistant to begin on July 1. The administrative assistant will serve both the Elementary/Middle School Principal and the Athletic Director. The job is either four or five days a week, with some summer days required.

LWA SPANISH TEACHER – PART-TIME
POSITION SUMMARY: Living Word Academy is looking for a high school Spanish teacher for the 2008-2009 school year. The position is part-time, five afternoons a week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in the language
- Able to teach four levels of high school Spanish
- Teaching experience, with ACSI and/or state certification (or working toward certification) is desired.
