21 Days of Prayer 2023

Chelsea Mosher   -

We invite you to join us on a 21 Days of Prayer journey! Over a 21-day period, from January 8 through January 28, we will be praying over our homes, community, and the world. There is power in our prayers when we agree together in faith and we consider your prayers a huge value to our church! If you would like to join us, click the button at the bottom of this page to subscribe to our Worship Center email list and receive a daily email from us over the 21 days. Each daily email will include the prayer and scripture of the day to focus your attention as well as a link to join a Zoom prayer meeting during the weekdays. We are hopeful and expectant for what God will do through our prayers as a church body. Thank you for joining us in prayer!

Prayer Points

1. Pray that we will experience God’s power to be his witness in our homes.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere – in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

2. Pray for our families to discern what is right through time in prayer and in God’s Word together.

“So let us discern for ourselves what is right; Let us learn together what is good.” – Job 34:4

3. Pray for moms and dads to continue teaching their children what is good and right, even when they are going through rough patches.

“As for me, I will certainly not sin against the Lord by ending my prayers for you. And I will continue to teach you what is good and right.” – 1 Samuel 12:23

4. Pray for us to be examples to those around us by being careful for how we live, making wise decisions.

So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise.” – Ephesians 5:15

5. Pray for ourselves and for our children to not be deceived by false prophets and teachers.

“Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.” – 1 John 4:1

6. Pray for our faith to increase to receive the promise of a discerning mind in a corrupt world.

“O Lord, listen to my cry; give me the discerning mind you promised.” – Psalm 119:169

7. Pray for our children to not lose sight of common sense and discernment while building their lives upon the solid principles of God’s Word.

“My child, don’t lose sight of common sense and discernment. Hang on to them.” – Proverbs 3:21

8. In our communities, pray for those who live here to be impacted by the gospel in fresh new waves of His grace.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere – in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

9. Pray for those in our community who are wise to listen carefully to the Lord so others can be led to Christ and not stumble.

“Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the Lord are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.” – Hosea 14:9

10. Pray for followers of Jesus to sow good deeds and win friends by exhibiting the goodness and generosity of God.

“The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life; a wise person wins friends.” – Proverbs 11:30

11. Pray for those in our congregation to show discernment in their relationships in our community and express what they have learned from the Lord creatively.

“Then you will show discernment, and your lips will express what you’ve learned.” – Proverbs 5:2

12. Pray for our teachers, as they are able, to give insight, knowledge, and discernment to the young people they serve in our community.

13. Pray for believers to live wisely among those who don’t know Jesus yet, making the most of each opportunity we have.

“Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity.” – Colossians 4:5

14. Pray for opportunities to increase the gospel’s spread into our communities through the church in each region.

“Pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to speak about his mysterious plan concerning Christ. That is why I am here in chains. Pray that I will proclaim this message as clearly as I should.” – Colossians 4:3-4

15. Pray for the church to reach into all the world with the unstoppable gospel message.

16. Pray for our global partners to have a fresh vision of God’s desire in the region they serve.

“He (Gabriel the angel) explained to me, ‘Daniel, I have come here to give you insight and understanding. The moment you began praying, a command was given, for you are very precious to God. Listen carefully so that you can understand the meaning of your vision.’” – Daniel 9:23

19. Pray for justice to roll through the streets in countries in the grip of Satan, being loosed by the power of the gospel moving in each community.
