About Creative Ministries
Worship Center's Creative Ministries values the creative ideas of artists. Creative Ministries encompasses the areas of audio, video, lighting, dance, drama, communications, and visual arts. We have a lot of vision for how artists can engage and connect with people in ministry at Worship Center, and we are excited beyond measure at the possibilities!
Drama/Dance
At Worship Center, drama and dance presentations are used during weekend gatherings and other venues to illustrate points in a message or to help people engage with the topic being presented.
Drama team gatherings provide a time for those who are curious about acting and want a place to explore their potential without feeling the pressure of a role on stage. For others, it's a time to rehearse or prepare for their next role. People are generally cast for parts in drama presentations from this team. All are welcome to attend these drama team gatherings. Just use the Interest Form to let us know you're planning to attend.
Stage
From time to time, the stage set does change. Sometimes these changes require construction elements, and other times the changes are made during services. In Worship Center's new worship facility, we will have a huge stage, and we will need to draw from individuals who are skilled in both set design and construction. In addition, a stage crew will be added to handle scene changes on stage during weekend services. If you have experience in set design, set construction, or have interest in being a part of stage crew, contact us by using the Interest Form.
Visual Arts / Photography
From abstract to vivid paintings, there are so many ways God can use you as an artist to communicate His love. Whether using the medium of canvas, set painting, murals, photography or by other means, if you consider yourself a visual artist, please contact us by using the Interest Form so we can discuss with you how your God-given skills can best be used at Worship Center.
Video Production
Worship Center has a great team of people who serve every weekend and during special events to make our video production work. We have a full video production during services with three to four camera operators, computer operators, video producers, and technical directors. We also produce many of our promotional videos for announcements. If you have interest in joining this fun team, let us know by filling out the Interest Form. No experience is required, and training is provided.
Audio
Audio technicians are probably the least considered as artists. However, creating a well-rounded, full audio mix that doesn't pierce the ears or create distracting unwanted sounds is an art! This team provides audio mixing for the main weekend services. It also provides training for other venues, such as FAITH Factory children's ministry, Oneighty Student Ministries, Alpha, weddings, and other special events. Lighting
Light and color are often the most underestimated elements in creating ambience. At Worship Center, we combine both to create environments for ministry. We use both conventional and moving fixtures with High End's WholeHog PC console to achieve this. If you have either a background or interest in lighting design or programming, please let us know by filling out the Interest Form.
Communications
Almost everyone would say that good communication is an art. At Worship Center, our Communications Department consists of a director, a lead graphic designer, and an assistant designer. All graphic visuals - website, printed pieces, logos, screen announcements, worship backgrounds, and the like - are generated in house by our Communications team. Also, most of the copy generated from Worship Center is produced by Communications.
